Mud Play in the City!
Outdoor Playgroup Adelaide and Splash Adelaide present a Nature Play Day for children 0-6 and their families…
We will create a magical world full of adventure, where kids can be kids and be wild. Kids will play in and reconnect with nature, creating positive memories of the outdoors. A perfect way to spend the school holidays, this FREE day will feature: mud play, water play, Dino fossil search, bug hunt, box city, clay play, weaving, nature craft and kid things like rolling down hills, staring at the clouds, playing hide and seek, jumping in piles of leaves, shadow chasing….
There will also be a quiet, clean, dry zones, private space for mums to breastfeed and baby changing facilities. Caffeine will be provided with food trucks on site offering tasty toddler friendly treats and coffee, coffee and more coffee. Forget your wellies? Don’t own any waterproof clothing? There will be stalls set up selling everything your child needs to head into the great outdoors. While this event is aimed at preschool aged children, older children are more than welcome to attend!
This event will go ahead rain or shine! So bring your old clothes, waterproof clothes, spare clothes, gumboots and a sense of adventure! Happy, dirty, exhausted children guaranteed! Parking is available on Sir Lewis Cohen Drive, South Tce and surrounding streets. Or… catch the tram right to the event!
Check out the Facebook Event for updates and information.
