Q: What do you get when nine artists are let loose around Hindmarsh Square?
A: We don’t know but can’t wait to find out!
ArmatureLIVE is a one-day only event that ensnares unsuspecting members of the public in brief encounters with public artworks – shiftable, changeable, reactionary, temporary and most importantly, LIVE!
Not just one event! – ArmatureLIVE offers a program of events happening at various stages throughout the day and around the CBD (centred on).
Meet the artists! – When the artists are not ‘performing’ they will return to the Hindmarsh Square to talk with members of the public about their experiences, their ideas and their process.
Get a bite to eat! – From onsite food trucks or the nearby Citi Centre Arcade you can feed your soul and your stomach.
ArmatureLIVE will be part exhibition opening, part open forum to discuss art in the public realm, and part buzzing hub of art activity.Presented by Access2Arts, armatureLIVE is It embraces risk, challenge and failure the culmination and celebration of live art development and mentoring of local artists learnings from the ArmatureLIVE workshop series, run by Access2Arts.
